Roof Replacement Services

Complete tear-off and new roof installation, done right the first time and usually finished in one to three days.

A New Roof Built for Utah Weather

When patching stops making sense, a full roof replacement is the fix that lasts. Go Pro Roofing tears your old roof down to the deck, repairs any soft or rotted sheathing we find, and installs a complete new roofing system from underlayment to ridge cap. Most homes are finished in one to three days, and we handle permits, cleanup, and disposal so you don’t have to.

Signs It’s Time to Replace, Not Repair

  • Your roof is 20 years old or more and leaks keep coming back in new spots
  • Shingles are curling, cracking, or shedding granules into the gutters
  • Hail or wind damage covers a large part of the roof, not just a few shingles
  • The deck feels spongy underfoot or you can see daylight in the attic
  • You’re selling, and an inspection report flagged the roof

Not sure which side of the line you’re on? Start with a free roof inspection. If a repair will buy you real years, we’ll tell you.

What Goes Into a Go Pro Roof

Utah winters are hard on roofs. Freeze-thaw cycles, heavy snow, and ice building up at the eaves all find the weak spots. That’s why we don’t cut corners on the details other bids skip: new drip edge, proper flashing at chimneys and walls, ice and water shield along the eaves and valleys, replaced pipe boots, and balanced attic ventilation. Those parts decide how long a roof actually lasts.

We install architectural asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and TPO and flat roof systems. Go Pro Roofing is certified by GAF (Master Elite), Owens Corning (Preferred Contractor), CertainTeed (ShingleMaster), and TAMKO (Pro). That lets us register enhanced manufacturer warranties of up to 50 years on materials, on top of our own 5-year workmanship warranty.

What a Roof Replacement Costs

Most residential roof replacements in Utah run between $8,000 and $15,000. The final number depends on roof size, pitch, how many layers come off, and the material you choose. Every estimate we give is itemized, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for. We accept credit cards, Zelle, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Insurance Replacements

If hail or wind damaged your roof, insurance may cover part or all of the replacement. We photograph the damage, give you an itemized estimate for your claim, and work directly with your adjuster. “Really appreciated the thorough explanation of my existing roof and the things taken into consideration during the replacement. They took tons of photos before/during/after that were shared with me on a Google link which made it easy to share with my insurance company. My roof took one day which was glorious!”

“Exceptional experience with this company from beginning to end of the process, which is unfortunately very rare these days. Showed up on time and did excellent work. Pointed out items that other companies who bid the job missed, and didn’t try to add them on simply to charge me more.”

Common Questions

Roof Replacement FAQs

How much does a roof replacement cost?

Most residential roof replacements in Utah cost between $8,000 and $15,000. Price depends on square footage, roof pitch, how many layers we remove, and the material you choose. We give free, itemized estimates so you can compare apples to apples.

Most homes take one to three days, depending on roof size, material, and weather. Many of our customers have the old roof off and the new one on in a single day.

Most Utah cities require a building permit for a reroof. Go Pro Roofing pulls the permit for you as part of the job, so you don’t have to deal with the city.

We recommend a full tear-off. Laying shingles over an old layer hides deck damage, adds weight, and can affect your manufacturer warranty. Tearing off lets us inspect and repair the deck before the new roof goes on.

Every new roof includes our 5-year workmanship warranty. Because we’re certified with GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, and TAMKO, we can also register manufacturer material warranties of up to 50 years. Ask us how to get full coverage for the expected life of your shingles.

Will homeowners insurance pay for a roof replacement?

If your roof was damaged by hail, wind, or another covered event, insurance may pay for some or all of a replacement. Wear and age usually aren’t covered. We document damage with photos and work with your insurance company, but we can’t guarantee what your policy covers.

Late spring through early fall gives the best installation weather, and that’s when schedules fill up fastest. We replace roofs year-round when conditions allow, and booking in the off-season can mean faster scheduling.

We install architectural asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and TPO and flat roof systems, plus tile on some projects. We’ll walk you through the cost, lifespan, and look of each option for your home.
